_x000D_ The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo mount is equipped with a modern and very precise GoTo control system. It consists of a robust Wi-Fi controller unit that provides all necessary interfaces. The NEMA-11 stepper motors are connected directly to this unit via cable, and there is also an ST-4-compatible autoguider interface. The control system also supports micro-stepping to ensure precise tracking.

_x000D_ Intuitive operation via app and graphical star map
_x000D_ The ExploreStars app, specially developed for the PMC-Eight system, features a graphically pleasing and intuitive user interface. The available alignment stars for control initialization, as well as all celestial objects in the database, are displayed as a star map with additional text information. All these objects can be easily viewed and selected.

_x000D_ Powerful controller unit with Open GoTo for customization
_x000D_ At the heart of the controller unit is a fully autonomous 2-channel multi-processor with 8 CPUs and a Wi-Fi Ethernet 10/100 adapter with IP function. This enables remote operation via browser, ASCOM, app, or serial connection. The Open GoTo system also allows custom firmware to be written and loaded into the controller unit, enabling individual adjustments to device functions, as well as the creation of custom object lists, etc.
