_x000D_ The BRESSER Science MTL 201 is a specialised reflected light microscope that allows the examination of non-transparent surfaces at higher magnifications (50x-800x). Ideal applications for this very solidly manufactured instrument include metallography (e.g. polished sections of metals and alloys), mineralogy, precision mechanics, electronics, and the semiconductor industry; it is suitable for scientific research and teaching as well as industrial production (e.g. quality control). According to its purpose, the MTL 201 features a very large stage (250 mm x 230 mm), which can be moved roughly with a handlebar and finely with cross and longitudinal drives. For perfect focusing, coarse and fine drives (coaxial; approx. 70 µm/revolution) are available. The reflected light illumination is provided by a halogen bulb (20 W) with adjustable light intensity through the objective. A centring field diaphragm, a selection of filters (yellow, green, blue, matte), and a polariser/analyser combination are available to the observer. The five-position turret is equipped with planachromatic DIN objectives (5x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 80x). The trinocular microscope head carries the eyepiece tubes inclined at 30° and the photo tube. The widefield eyepieces (WF10x) are adjustable for eye relief and dioptre difference. The photo tube allows digital image capture, e.g. via an optionally available PC eyepiece. Additional optional accessories: eyepiece (WF16x), measuring eyepiece (WF10x), planachromatic objective (50x).

_x000D_ The MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI is a particularly compact HDMI camera. A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in teaching. Alternatively, a small BRESSER monitor can be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120).
_x000D_
_x000D_ The HDMI connection is easy to make and the camera is ready for use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Thanks to the lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved and the image is always displayed with a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and without delay. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation is to be digitised, e.g. in quality control or production.
_x000D_
_x000D_ The supplied USB mouse is connected for control. This allows the three menus (camera settings, measurement* and display) to be operated.
_x000D_ *To perform measurements with the camera, a calibration slide is required (e.g. item no.: 5916710 or 5916720).
_x000D_ The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as it operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and mouse pointer are then not visible.
_x000D_
_x000D_ Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for this. The USB port is only for controlling the camera with the mouse.
