The Ulanzi MA56 4-in-1 Phone Clamp Mount (MagLock Phone Mount) is a magnetic phone mount that carries up to 500 grams and attaches in four different ways. Your phone snaps on magnetically, so there is nothing to clamp. Folded up it fits in a jacket pocket or a side pocket of your camera bag.

Mounting
The base has four connections, so the mount fits almost any setup. On a Uka tripod you slide it straight on. The 1/4" screw and the ARRI locating pins keep it from twisting on a camera cage when you move the rig, and the 1/4" thread fits nearly every external mount. Turn the knob on the base counterclockwise and the cold shoe extends, turn it clockwise and it retracts.

Magnets
The magnets pull with more than 14 N, which works out to over 1.4 kilos of holding force. The silicone side is the side for your phone and also stops it sliding sideways, while the smooth back is meant for magnetic accessories. If your phone has no magnets of its own, you stick the supplied adapter ring on the back or on the case.

MagLock hook
The patented MagLock hook works as a quick coupling: you press it on and it holds, and the same movement takes it off again. It is meant for everyday use, not for hanging heavy gear from or climbing with.

Angles
The dual ball head turns through 360° and tilts across a 180° range. That lets you switch between landscape and portrait or aim the phone straight down without taking it off.

Storage
You loosen the quick release knob, fold the base in and then fold the top section flat. In that position the mount fits in a trouser pocket.
