The programmable RGB light ring adds a lot of atmosphere to your setup and can be customized in the free "Godox Mic" smartphone app, allowing for custom patterns and animations that respond directly to sound, such as your voice. 
Gain is easily controlled with a rotary knob at the top and the built in USB C port does double duty as a convenient power source and audio output, sending 48kHz quality digital sound
