This allows you to mount rod based accessories in front of the camera body such as matte boxes, follow focus systems, or Lens Supports. This Rod Holder secures to the Half Cage Extension Bracket via a 1/4″-20 screw and locating pins which provides a secure connection while preventing unwanted rotation.
